Hi, list.

Instruction for Debian users on the official VLC website suggests to install version from wheezy-backports repository: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-debian.html

Sadly, I don't see VLC package in backports. Perhaps instruction is outdated.

Hi , about Debian unstable is not the latest release of vlc .. I am
still waiting for 2.1.0 .. ok it's fine with that version I have ..

Yep, I also have no problems with "stable" version.
My message was more about documentation issue.
